Ann Bies

Ann works on projects involving the syntactic ("treebank") and semantic annotation of English and Arabic, including the Arabic Treebank, the Biomedical Information Extraction (ITR/E) project, the English/Chinese Treebank, and the English/Arabic Treebank. Her previous work includes contributing to the original Penn Treebank, as well as creating an annotated corpus of Early New High German.
