Stephanie Strassel

Stephanie manages LDC's Collection and Annotation Groups, overseeing data creation, collection and linguistic annotation for sponsored research programs and technology evaluations supported by LDC. Since 1992 Stephanie has led corpus creation efforts for a diverse set of technologies including machine translation, speech recognition, question answering, handwriting recognition, document classification, topic detection, information extraction, knowledge base population, natural language understanding, speaker identification, language and dialect recognition, multimodal event detection and related areas.
