There are 9 tenses, 3 future, 4 past, and 2 present. There are 5 moods.
The materials were elicited and transcribed by Steven Bird.
Each paradigm is laid out as a table with 4 columns and 8 rows,
an approach which was inspired by the work of Hyman (1985).
In the
first two columns, the subject noun is varied while the
object noun is
fixed. In the final two columns, the object noun
is varied and the
subject noun is fixed. Words used in the paradigms
are listed in the
following table.
