Obtaining Data

The easiest way to obtain LDC data is to become a member of the consortium. You can read the FAQ for LDC Members here. Current LDC Members also have access to LDC Online, a web based system for browsing and searching LDC data. The FAQ for LDC Online is here. The FAQ for non-members is here.

Follow these three steps to obtain LDC Corpora.
Search the catalog. You can search the catalog by data or source type, language, recommended application, publication year or associated project.
Sign any agreements required. The catalog page for each corpus provides links to any user agreements that are required. You can also view the complete list here.
Contact LDC. If your organization is an LDC member in the appropriate year and no additional agreements are required, we will ship the data you request via priority mail or FTP as appropriate. You can also check you member profile here to verify your membership years and/or see who in your organization has received which corpora.
