Application by an Organization to Use the Speech Controlled Computing corpus
distributed by the Linguistic Data Consortium
____________________________________________________________ (“User”), an organization engaging in language education, research and/or technology development, agrees to use the speech and text data (the “Data”) designated as Speech Controlled Computing and distributed by the Linguistic Data Consortium (LDC) subject to the following understandings, terms and conditions.
1. Permitted uses
1.1. The Data may only be used for linguistic education, research and technology development, including but not limited to information retrieval, document understanding, machine translation, or speech recognition.
1.2. The Data may be incorporated into User’s work products, including for commercial purposes. User shall not copy, redistribute, resell, transmit, publish or otherwise use the Data for any other purpose.
