• Workshop registration and all sessions will take place in the Class of 1949 Auditorium within Houston Hall.
• On Day 1, (Thursday, September 6) breakfast and breaks will take place in the Terrace Room of Claudia Cohen Hall (formerly Logan Hall) immediately adjacent to Houston Hall.
• On Day 2, Friday, September 7, breakfast and breaks will take place in the Hall of Flags within Houston Hall.
• Walking time from both hotels to Claudia Cohen Hall or Houston Hall is ~ 10 minutes (0.3 miles).
• Signage with directions to the Workshop will begin once you enter Penn's campus.

From Sheraton Hotel, 36th and Chestnut Streets

1. Turn right from the Sheraton's main entrance to briefly head west on Chestnut Street towards 36th Street.
2. Turn left (south) to cross Chestnut. Proceed two blocks to Walnut Street, cross Walnut Street to enter Penn's campus.

1. Turn left from the Inn at Penn's Walnut Street entrance (the main entrance is on Sansom Street and faces the wrong direction) to briefly head east on Walnut Street.
2. At 36th Street, turn right (south) to cross Walnut Street and enter Penn's campus.

On Thursday, September 6, breakfast and coffee breaks will take place in Claudia Cohen Hall while registration and the workshop will take place in Houston Hall. Signage with directions to the Workshop will begin once you enter Penn's campus.

4. Continue (south) into Penn's campus and climb the very small (<0.1 mile) hill.
   
5. Pass the 'King Solomon' sculpture on your left. The path may be narrowed slightly due to some ongoing construction.
   
6. Another few yards on, at the top of the hill, your footpath will intersect with Locust Walk. The red LOVE sculpture will be ahead on the left. Turn left onto Locust Walk.
   
7. Continue a few yards to a 5-pointed intersection and take the second path from the right. This path will lead you to Claudia Cohen Hall (CCH).
   
8. Continue to the first small set of stairs (4 stairs) and bear right to walk along the left (east) side of Claudia Cohen Hall.
   
9. Proceed to the main entrance, ~200 feet on your right, and enter the building. Once inside, turn left to enter G14, the Terrace Room. Breakfast will be available from 8:00-9:00 am

From Claudia Cohen Hall to Houston Hall, Class of 1949 Auditorium

10. Go back out the main entrance of CCH. You are now facing the Perelman Quadrangle.
11. Descend the stairs and walk halfway through the quad to reach the main (middle, second) entrance of Houston Hall, the large gray building on the right.
12. Once in Houston Hall's main lobby, turn left as if making a U-turn for the stairs leading to the Workshop. Take the stairs to the second floor. The Class of 1949 Auditorium is through a door on the left.

Please note that there is a Help Desk in Houston Hall's main lobby in case you need additional instructions.

From 36th and Walnut to Houston Hall (Day 2)

On Friday September 7, all events (registration, breakfast, coffee breaks and the workshop) will take place in Houston Hall. Signage with directions to the Workshop will begin once you enter Penn's campus.

4. Continue (south) into Penn's campus and climb the very small (<0.1 mile) hill.
   
5. Pass the 'King Solomon' sculpture on your left. The path may be narrowed slightly due to some ongoing construction.
   
6. Another few yards on, at the top of the hill, your footpath will intersect with Locust Walk. The red LOVE sculpture will be ahead on the left. Turn left onto Locust Walk.
   
7. Continue a few yards to a 5-pointed intersection and take the second path from the right.
8. Continue to the first small set of stairs (4 stairs) and continue down the remaining stairs to enter the Perelman Quadrangle.
9. Once in the quad, enter Houston Hall's farthest entrance.
10. Go through the doors and down the stairs.
11. At the foot of the stairs, turn left to enter the Hall of Flags.

From Hall of Flags to Class of 1949 Auditorium, both in Houston Hall

12. Take the flight of stairs at one end of the Hall of Flags to reach the balcony that surrounds the room.
13. Make a U-turn to the right to continue along the balcony towards a set of doors.
14. Go through these doors and walk straight until just before the Houston Hall help desk and turn right to climb the stairs the second floor. The Class of 1949 Auditorium is on the left.
